Linda Bello
Linda Bello received her MSW from Portland State University in 1985, and began her work with the State Office for Services to Children and Families that same year. She has a background in Protective Services, Parent Training, Foster Care Certification and Training, and in coordinating the Family Sex Abuse Treatment Programs of both Metro and Western regions. Within the Partnership training program, Linda coordinates Casework Practice Training. Linda also provides liaison and program support to the training, "Freeing and Placing Children for Adoption."

Marty Lowrey
Marty Lowrey graduated from California State University Chico with a Bachelors in Social Work and Bachelors in Philosophy. She received her Masters in Social Work from California State University, Sacramento and is Licensed as a
Clinical Social Worker in the State of Oregon. Ms. Lowrey has a background in psychiatric residential treatment as a caseworker, program manager, and therapist. In Nashville Tennessee, Ms. Lowrey was the Director of Training
for a residential treatment program serving youth in state custody and directed training for approximately 60 staff and 130 care providers. Ms. Lowrey's background in Oregon Child Welfare includes both permanency and protective services. She was the lead protective service worker and a member
of the Child Abuse Response Team in Benton County. Ms. Lowrey was the 2000 recipient of Oregon's Tom Moan Memorial Award for Leadership and Outstanding Achievement in Child Welfare.
Karen Moorhead
Karen Moorhead completed her Bachelor's degree from Oregon State University in 1983 and her Master's of Social Work from PSU in 1987. She began her work for the Department of Human Services at the Clackamas branch where her focus was on protective services and parent training. She transferred to the Washington branch in 1992 where she focused on protective services and permenancy and eventually was promoted to a Consultant/Trainer position, where she was responsible for assisting the branch with the implementation of ASFA. Karen came to the Partnership in January of 2000. She is currently responsible for Legal Issues in Child Welfare, elements of Freeing and Placing Children for Adoption and ASFA training within the Partnership's Core set of trainings.
Kris Villanueva
Kris has a Masters Degree in Social Work from PSU and completed her LCSW in 1998. She joined the Child Welfare Partnership in 2000 having worked for the State Office for Services to Children and Families since 1978. Her experience includes intake, permanency, foster care certification, kinship and adoptions specializing in work with Spanish and Russian speaking families. Kris has experience in working with chronically ill people, in outpatient and inpatient settings, in parent education and play therapy. Her work with the Partnership will focus on training on foster care, adoptions and the Adoptions and Safe Families Act.
Michelle Warden
Michelle Warden has been working on behalf of children and families since 1987. She has served as the Director/Volunteer Coordinator for a grass roots crisis center; which aided victims of domestic violence, she worked for a local school district, where she co-facilitated parent support groups and assisted in teaching children with special needs. Michelle has also served as an Interim Coordinator for a local Community Gym Program for at-risk youth. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree with a Major in Psychology from Willamette University in 1996, at which time she began her career with the Department of Humans Services, Child Welfare. Michelle worked as a Social Service Specialist, both in the Permanency and Intake Units. She helped to implement the Team Decision Meeting Model in Marion County and facilitated Team Decision Meetings. In 2002 Michelle received the Director’s Excellence Award for her collaborative work with families and the community. She was a Consultant, Educator and Trainer, primarily in the Protective Services Unit of Marion County Child Welfare from 2003 – 2005. Michelle joined the Child Welfare Partnership training staff in July of 2005. She is currently one of three trainers responsible for training CPS Core.
